Why NickTheFly?
Nick TheFly – came from literally translating my name. Beyond the play on words and the literal translation, it is also a philosophy about freedom of movement, resilience and the determination to go through life with optimism, a philosophy that I have embraced from a young age and want to pass on.
Who am I?
I am Nicolae Musca, I work in the sustainability field at a German company subsidiary (ebmpapst) and as I like to say, I turn obstacles into opportunities.
One of these apparent obstacles is that I am a wheelchair user, and by overcoming this obstacle I aim to inspire not only people like myself but also all those who face difficulties, no matter what they are.
What am I doing?
In 2023 I started a project that aims to change narratives about barriers and inclusion by creating inspirational content.
This project is so much more than simply creating content – it’s a mission that inspires and mobilizes communities to believe in the power of overcoming hardship.

Warum NickTheFly?
Nick TheFly – entstand aus der wörtlichen Übersetzung meines Namens. Über das Wortspiel und die wörtliche Übersetzung hinaus ist es auch eine Philosophie über Bewegungsfreiheit (fly – fliegen), Widerstandsfähigkeit und die Entschlossenheit, mit Optimismus durchs Leben zu gehen – eine Philosophie, die ich von klein auf verinnerlicht habe und weitergeben möchte
Wer bin ich?
Ich bin Nicolae Musca, arbeite im Bereich der Nachhaltigkeit bei einer deutschen Unternehmenstochter (ebmpapst) und verwandle, wie ich gerne sage, Hindernisse in Chancen.
Eines dieser offensichtlichen Hindernisse ist, dass ich im Rollstuhl sitze, und durch die Überwindung dieses Hindernisses möchte ich nicht nur Menschen wie mich inspirieren, sondern auch all jene, die mit Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen haben, ganz gleich, welcher Art sie sind.
Was tue ich?
Im Jahr 2023 habe ich ein Projekt ins Leben gerufen, das darauf abzielt, die Erzählungen über Barrieren und Inklusion zu verändern, indem es inspirierende Inhalte schafft.
Dieses Projekt ist so viel mehr als nur die Erstellung von Inhalten – es ist eine Mission, die Gemeinschaften inspiriert und mobilisiert, an die Kraft der Überwindung von Schwierigkeiten zu glauben.

De ce nickthefly?
Nick TheFly – a apărut pornind de la a-mi traduce literal numele. Dincolo de jocul de cuvinte și traducerea literală, este și o filozofie despre libertatea de mișcare (fly – zbor / a zbura), reziliență și hotărârea de a trece prin viață cu optimism, o filozofie pe care am abordat-o de la o vârstă fragedă și pe care doresc să o transmit mai departe
Cine sunt?
Sunt Nicolae Musca, lucrez în domeniul sustenabilității la o filială a unei companii germane (ebmpapst) și, așa cum îmi place să spun, transform obstacolele în oportunități.
Unul dintre aceste aparente obstacole este acela că folosesc scaunul rulant, iar prin depășirea acestui obstacol mi-am propus să inspir, nu doar persoane asemenea mie dar și pe toți cei care se confruntă cu dificultăți, indiferent de natura acestora.
Ce fac?
În 2023 am început un proiect care dorește să schimbe narativele despre obstacole și incluziune prin crearea de conținut inspirațional.
Acest proiect este mult mai mult decât simpla creație de conținut – este o misiune care inspiră și mobilizează comunități să creadă în puterea de a trece peste dificultăți.
Făcând o donație îmi vei susține proiectul și demersurile mele de a schimba mentalități.
